CIPS Regina Scholarships
Each year CIPS Regina offers a scholarship for a University of Regina student as well as a SIAST Palliser student. The recipients of either of these awards will also receive a one-year CIPS student membership. The scholarship winners will be invited to attend a CIPS Regina dinner or luncheon meeting for formal recognition by CIPS members.
Applications will be available at a later date.
University of Regina Scholarship
- $1000 scholarship awarded annually in the Winter semester to a full-time student majoring in computer science who has completed at least 60 credit hours with 18 of these in Computer Science.
- Applications are available at the Computer Science Department.
- Applicants must submit a letter, with their application, detailing their current interests in computing and/or business, related work experiences, and their career goals.
- Recommendations for the award will be made by the Computer Science Department on the basis of student activities and academic standing.
- Preference will be given to CIPS student members.
SIAST-Palliser Scholarship
$500 scholarship awarded annually in the fall to a 3rd semester Computer Information Systems full-time student based upon:
- Academic standing (minimum cumulative weighted average or 65%)
- Financial need
- Leadership and communication skills
- School and community involvement in the 1st year
Preference will be given to CIPS student members.
- Applications are available from the Campus Director’s Office.
- Attach a photocopy of transcripts for Semester 1 and 2.
